Max’s Dairy has been a tradition in the Wapakoneta community since the early 1950s. The Dairy Bar was originally established on the corner of Bellefontaine and Benton Streets by Max Schlatter. The tradition of Max’s has continued for
generations serving up its original soft serve recipe for more than 70 years.
Over the years, Max’s has seen many changes. However, one thing that remains the same is the family friendly service. Max’s is a staple in the community for generations to come.
When visiting Max’s, you are supporting more than an ice cream shop! You are supporting a dream and community. Over the years, Max’s has helped support baseball teams, school events, and other local charities. We also encourage you
to check out our Blessing Box. This small food pantry has been a blessing to the many who have given and to those who have received.
Max’s Dairy strives to keep our menu current with new food trends. That includes soft serve along with over 16 flavors of hard dip ice cream! A variety of sandwiches have been added to the menu including hot dogs with Coney sauce,
sloppy joes, shredded chicken and bar-b-que.
